i love this post. i have some pretty fantastic names in mind for my future children. when i share the names i have in mind, people go bananas. They can't believe i would do such a thing. I can't believe we are so programmed to seek out the safe and ordinary. My boss's name is Dick. At first i was a little hesitant to be yelling out "Dick," but i'm over it....it still provides some entertainment on bad days.

ROFLMAO

I looked to find a name that the 'other kids' would not could not subvert. I named my daughter Nova Celeste, after a timely astronomic event.
The 5th grade boys, probably spawn of the troglodytes who tortured me at that age, re-named her No Vagina... Proving that I was not any smarter than a 5th grader, and that a tough kid survives it anyway.

Thanks for the insight into names for kids, and also into the fact that no man (Paul) ever gets more mature than a 10 yo.
